Well located hotel in the Center of Venice
Close to the San marco square this is a nice hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Nothing fancy but very well located, ideal for a weekend stay.

Near it all
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here while in Venice. It is in the middle of it all, but tucked away from the crowds of the San Marco area. Very easy to walk to all the tourist attractions and transportation. The only problem we had was with the air conditioning. We were not expecting it to be 80 degrees while there in October and the air in the room never got much cooler.
Take the Alilaguna boat service from the Airport to the San Marco stop to save a few bucks. A lot cheaper than taking a water taci. It is about a 45 minute ride, but you get to see so much.

Great location
The Kette Hotel in Venice, Italy is located just a couple blocks off St. Marks Square - great location!! Service could be a bit better considering the price we paid. Bed was not the most comfortable with very flat pillows. I would not discourage anyone from using this property.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Use public transportation for sightseeing destinations, transfer to and from St. Marks Square, airport and port. Ticket offices are located throughout city.
