Country Estate Living in the Middle of Orange County CA
Stay here if you want to be on a hilltop overlooking a panorama of Arabian Horses grazing, the hills of Pomona, the vineyards and cornfields of the Cal Poly Ag School, and the Pomona Valley. Go somewhere else if you want smog, concrete buildings and warehouses, traffic, cars, cars, cars, and more cars, and throngs of people crowding the sidewalks. The first thing you notice is how quiet it is, except for the sound of the farm animals talking to each other. The floor to ceiling windows of the dining room overlook the University and is quite a sight. This is run by Cal Poly Pomona and staffed by Students of the University, so you get a lot of fresh-faced, energetic young people asking how you are doing. What a change from the Big Box Hotel chains! Maybe I should write a detracting review so we can keep this place to ourselves, but it wouldnt be fair to the Students.
For a Big City Tech University, Cal Poly Pomona has an Arabian Horse Ranch which is run by the AG school. If you are visiting Orange County and want to see something Unique and Fun (and other than the license plate and bumper of the car in front of you), go visit the Cal Poly Pomona-Kellogg Arabian Horse Ranch where they have wonderful tours and horse shows. They are seasonal however, so check the website for details. From the little Baby Arabian Ponies to the beautiful Award-winning full size Arabians, this is incredible ... and in the middle of bustling Orange County.

Quiet and Relaxing
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed place to stay the night that is close to shopping and dont mind being a little out of the way, this place is amazing. Keep in mind that the primary use is business, but the rooms were clean, they come with a balcony that has great views of mountains and the city, and you really feel like you are out of the rat race for a bit. very nice. Stores, bars, (small) clubs and the fairplex are all within minutes. Also the U is right next door which was a fun walk. very much recommended. Not to mention, it is locally owned (from what I could tell) and the pool / hot tub were great!

An awesome place to stay!
On late notice we heard about this hotel and decided to try it, and we couldnt have been treated better. Its actually part of the Cal Poly compus in Pomona, Ca. and only a few miles from the activity we were attending at the L.A. County Fairgrounds. It was quiet, clean, had a great breakfast, and the people were very protective of our cars during our stay. Were part of a Car Club of 50 members and everyone said they would go back there anytime for any event in the area.
