Very nice
The hotel was very quaint with good service. Our bathroom had a leak, but all in all it was a great experience. It was a fantastic location.

The Heart of Ennis
When we arrived, Expedia had written our special request as a Double Bed, but we had requested 2 beds and the hotel was packed. Despite this fact, the people at the desk were extremely courteous and promised to get us a double. They quickly did and sent someone up to move our bags from the room they had let us wait in. The hotel was perfect - it had a friendly pub,Poets Corner, where we met many people including The Chieftains after their concert across the street at the cathedral.(which was an amazing show.) The Old Grounds restaurant called The Town Hall was outstanding. We could live at this hotel!
Traveler's tip on dining
Superb dining was right at the hotel -The Town Hall. And sessions often pop up at the pub, The Poets Corner. Ennis was nice to walk around and shop at, but we were always drawn back to the hotel.

One of the nicest places to stay in Ennis--After traveling there many times and staying at a number of places in the area, this comfortable, quaint hotel is in a great location downtown and walking distance to all the town has to offer--nice breakfast, and pub food very good.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Intown, must visit Cruises Pub, great shopping at boutique and Dunns stores, can get groceries at Dunnes if traveling with children and many pubs to see in the town. 1/2 hr from Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, and the Burren by car, and an hr to Galway along the coast road--lovely ride. Also, Bunratty Caste and Dromoland Castle both close to Shannon Airport. LaHinch Golf Course and Dromonland Gulf Course among the best.
