Can’t wait to go back
Our hotel room at the Lanikai was not exactly what we were looking for, so the staff accommodated us at their other resort the Kaha Lani. We were very happy there. The resort is ocean front and the only one at this location. The beach and the views from our balcony were incredible. We were very secluded at this location and had the beach pretty much to ourselves all day. We got the opportunity to see a monk seal that had beached itself two days in a row at our beach, and we swam next to a sea turtle that was there when we were out swimming in the beach. Lydgate Park is right next door, and they have an amazing playground for kids. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay.
Traveler's tip on dining
If you like burgers, you must have a TnT burger.Farmer’s market in Kappa on Wed.they have the freshest produce and are very inexpensive compared to the supermarket. For incredible Mexican food go to Monico’s in Kappa. It is the only authentic Mexican food I found on the island (have the Carne Asada tacos). Kountry Kitchen has the best breakfast and the prices are very reasonable. Skip Bubba Burgers, not worth the time or price, better off going to Burger King.

Excellent vacation
Very nive facility in a beautiful location. We would definitely go back to stay.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Be sure to kayak the Wailua River to the Secret Falls, and snorkel at the Tunnels Beach!
