Budget friendly
The hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean. I don’t think I would’ve been comfortable there for more than the weekend though. Dive Paradise and Papa Hogs is right across the street so the location was great for divers. I had a really good chicken quesidilla at the bar acorss the street. I was disappointed in the diving though. I dove at Villablanca Wall (which didn’t even seem like a wall to me), Colombia and Playa del Cedral. Columbia was the best of the three. Overall, this was a good location, clean and had friendly staff so it has my recommendation.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The locals like to play a game called switch the currency...they accept pesos or dollars but will give you change in the opposite currency so they make out on the exchange rate. Buggers. Seems like a taxi was $6 or 70 pesos to go anywhere to/from this hotel except the airport which was $12.

great price! nice room
was just fine for the $. good Ac. bkfst next door at papa hogs was convenient. i was in the suite--the garden rooms looked a little small.
