Cutely different
A cute design hotel quite different than the stuffy things you can find in Athens. Attention to detail, clean (for Greek and international) standards. The breakfast is excellent and very good value. The rooftop restaurant has limited choice and good-tasting food, albeit overpriced compared to what you can get within 10 minutes walk from the place. Conveniently located close to the subway: excellent, cheap and fast way to breeze into town from the airport without suffering in a cab (the fare, the traffic, the haggling) It’s a nice walk to the Acropolis and the Monastir area for cafes and restaurants.

Helpful staff, questionable location
The room was clean, fresh, but small. The shower had half a door so water went everywhere. Don’t be fooled by the fact that there are balconies for every room. The view from the balcony is sketchy and you probably wouldn’t want to spend any time on it. One of the best things about the hotel is the extremely helpful staff. They helped us get taxis, schedule tours and answered all our questions. Fresh Hotel is within walking distance of pretty much anything. My husband and I are in fairly good shape and was able to walk to everything we wanted to see in Athens.
The roof top pool and the amazing view of the Acropolis make this hotel a good deal.
