Stanford Court

The Stanford Court is an old SF grand hotel which is ideally located at the heart of SFO and at the junction of 2 cable cars. The hotel has been well maintained and staff was very helpful and welcoming.

Just what I was looking for

The Renaissance Hotel provided just the experience I was looking for in a recent weekend getaway to San Francisco. My room was warm and comfortable. I’m not a big hotel person for the fact I can be somewhat of a clean freak but I found the accomodations very clean. The location is perfect as well. Just a little out-of-the-way from the traffic congestion.

Amazing Service and Location for your visit to San Francisco!

Not only was room service prompt (when you put 6:45am they COME at 6:45am...WE were the ones unprepared snoozing our heads off, haha), the service was impeccable. Most noteworthy is the doorman/valet guy out front who really made a difference in our stay as he was so helpful and kind to us and our needs. There is nothing quite like being in another city and having someone kindly take care of you. This hotel is pretty centrally located between Nob Hill and Union Square. It is right near the Grace Cathedral which was one of our stops and within walking distance of one of our favorite cafes. Also there were lots of car rentals located conveniently close by in walking distance. This review is based on a room on the topmost floor with a queen sized bed. The room we had was beautiful and classy, yet modern. Lots of natural lighting and we felt very pampered. The bathroom is regal and all marble, and the layout of the room is very smartly done. Even the room’s airflow was carefully thought out. This is really the best hotel I have ever stayed at on my travels. The only thing I wish was different is that they would leave us undisturbed until 12pm as that is official the check out time on our last day there. When we used the "do not disturb" sign the other nights they left us alone. However, we had such a nice time here it is not enough of a deterrent to keep us away. If we ever go to SF again we will be staying here without hesitation.
