Not Impressed!

Hotel service is terrible. It’s like once they get your money there is no changes as its an inconvience for them. We were told we couldnt change rooms because they were 95% sold out. At best they might have been 50% with many rooms never used and the parking lot empty. Next time will stay somewhere else!

Nice place five minutes from the strip.

Only problem we had was that we were on the bottom level and you can here the people above you walking, flushing and running water.

Best resort in Las Vegas

Westgate is a great resort for traveling famlies...It’s like being at home away from home..I’ve stayed here 4x and every time was better than the last...except for the front office staff this time wasn’t as pleasant as before, but everything else was extremely pleasant.

Looking forward to next years vacation..

This place is AWESOME and the staff there was just wonderful.. Our first vacation with our young ones in a long time and this place had everything to accommodate our family. We hope to visit next year and this time with our older ones.. my young ones can’t wait to return. We recommend this place for any family that is traveling with childrens or even a large family. To the staff of Westgate Flamingo Bay thank you for making our stay and vacation a tremendous one it just takes a smile to make a person feel welcome. Till next year...

Really blush accomodations!

The only problem we had was when we arrived they had us down for a one bedroom condo when we paid for a two bedroom. They quickly resolved the problem and we were pleasantly surprised by our accomodations.

Enjoy the Strip from afar. Great place for the kids too.

There is a pool there, but it was so hot we just loved coming into our airconditioned condo. It has a kitchen, with microwave and refrigerator. There is a very nice connecting bathroom and the bed was very comfy (just like sleeping at home), the conciere was courteous and very helpful. I would definitely go back and stay at this place again.

I did notice that the walls are rather thin, so you can hear people talking outside from inside the condo. However, it is very quiet there so it doesn’t happen often. The have covered parking, that is a plus if you are driving.

Nice Property, But...

This "hotel" is a group of condominiums, and is essentially a timeshare resort. That being said, while the rental rates are reasonable, they really want you to become an owner. So prepare for the "survey" and/or "presentation" appointment. There was a maintenance issue in our room (water leaking from upstairs), and so we had to move to another unit. This took hours. They moved us from a non-smoking room to a smoking room. I was told there were no more NS units available. We wound up leaving the front door open and spraying Lysol on the AC intake to try to get the smoke smell out of the room, all to no avail. Beautiful room but smelly! Came home with a sinus problem. Nice pool area and workout room. Nice property, but I would try others first before staying again.

Clean but soundproofing poor

This condo complex was attractive and clean. GIt is a gated community and felt very secure, especially reassuring in Las Vegas. The condos were quite compact although there was everything we needed. The beds were a touch on the hard side and only a sheet over the mattress. No extra padding. The biggest/only problem we had was the noise from adjoining condos - a baby crying, bathroom noise, conversations, people walking in the condo above. The soundproofing was very poor. For this reason we won’t use this location again. If you are lucky and don’t have neighbors you will be fine. It was pretty convenient for the strip and the neighborhood was fine.

nice place to stay with family.its off the strip,and the pool will keep the kids busy,plus it is very secure.It is beginng to show some wear and the furniture is worn,but still worth the price

Extra cost for room cleaning for extended stay:option. No Smoking rooms at all... Rooms where nice.

Very nice place. Staff was great, Clean Rooms, Quiet and Secure.. Just Remember to watch out for extra fees on items normally you wouldn’t see. Extended stay room service was additional if choose daily service..? Whatever right and remember no smoking for the people who do. They check out at 10 AM with and are not afraid to remind you. It was just my wife and I we did’nt party or get loud. Just thought It was little pushy even for Las Vegas.....

Westgate Flamingo Bay is a great place to stay while in Vegas!

From the moment you drive in through the front gates, the security personnel is friendly to you. Add to that the concierge, check-in staff and person who takes you to your room. My room made me feel like I was in a wonderful luxury apartment with TV, stereo, bathtub with jets, awesome shower and kitchen. I loved it and had a wonderful time while staying in Vegas.

Excellent off the strip choice

We really enjoyed this hotel. So much space for so much less and close enough to the strip we didn’t miss a thing! You have to stay 7 days to get housekeeping, but it was still well worth it. Planning on returning soon!

Overall, this was a great place to stay off the Strip. We opted for the two-bedroom, two-bath unit which was very clean and spacious with full kitchen facilities (including ice-maker). The only negative was the wireless internet ($9.95/day charge) was very slow. My only other comment is that I reel the property should be more up-front that it is a time share community and they try to get you to attend a sales ptich when you check in. Once I told them I wasn’t interested, there was no pressure, but it did take me by surprise. This was our first trip to Las Vegas and it was very enjoyable and the accommodations were a large part of that.

Great place , great price

We were in town for the NASCAR race and had 6 people stay and it was very comfortable. Shower in master bedroom was a little wierd because it was more like a hot tub with no privacy so it wasn’t very condusive for everyone trying to get ready at once.

Had a blast!

Our room was fantastic! The service was excellent. They go out of their way to be sure your stay is enjoyable. I would recommend requesting a room off of the main road due to some traffic noise but otherwise it was very nice.

Best off the strip Hotel

WE enjoyed are stay, it was very clean and the staff was very helpful with getting us to are destinations during our stay.

Great Place To Stay For The Money, But...

I specifically picked this hotel based on the reviews from previous guest and would’ve given it a 5 in all categories except for a few things. First off the room looks EXACTLY like the pictures, from the full kitchen to the beautiful (and warm) fireplace. When we first arrived we had to call maintenance because it wouldn’t turn on but they came asap and fixed it. The next night after a long day of walking on the strip we were awakened to a mouse in our room whom we never found and couldn’t seem to see where he came from. Again maintenance was called but we never got the traps we requested to at least get rid of him, I stayed up all night! The next night we decided to try out the jaccuzzi only to have the engine die when it was first turned on. We asked for another room and although the hotel promptly changed it, once we knew we had to stay another night we went eslewhere. The staff was very courteous and did EVERYTHING they could to accomodate us, but once things that began happening the first impression was taken away one by one. Overall it wasn’t bad but the first impression was damage especially since the place really is beatiful. Plus, beware of the request of the hotel to buy times shares as they offer tickets to free shows (we did it for the tickets)

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The shuttle is free and goes to the strip until 1am, use it to save money on cab fare. The diner across the street has good food for decent prices and the supermarket is down the street so you can utilize your kitchen although we hardly did. Try the buffets on the strip.

Excellent place to stay! Very Comfortable.

We stayed in a single unit and found the location great & the staff was perfect! Although we had a rental car I noticed they had a nice shuttle running to many casino’s every night. Our room was super clean and very modern, nice pool and hot tub. But best of all was the staff who were always were friendly and very helpful. The head Concierge was very knowledgeable.

Staff was very welcoming when we arrived. The two bedroom was perfect for our family. We especially appreciated having two bathrooms.

Westgate Owner Stays thru Expedia

As a Westgate owner it is sometimes easier to stay by renting thru Expedia. Almost all of the time they give you the extras that comes with being an owner - not at this property. It is smaller than most westgate properties but is still a nice property. It was a 5 minute drive to the strip which was close enough for me. . For the price you will not go wrong at this property.

Lines at most of the buffets were extremely long!! Try the barbq place in Rio which is the major casino you will pass on your way to the strip on your right - it is gooduffet prices have gone up a lot and are not as good as i remember them being. You may be better at restaurants, stay away from the playboy club it will be on your right as you head to the strip - it vastly overrated!

Very nice place....Will stay there again !!!

Very nice property. nice big rooms and home feeling. We stayed in a one bedroom plenty of room, fireplace, dvd player can rent a movie on property alot better tham the Marriott Grand Chatteu and we had a two bedroom there for a week. I would recommened this place to anyone !! Also gated

Feels like your second home

We go to SEMA each year and stay here because the employees are friendly, the rooms are clean quiet and well equipped, and always a pleasant stay.

The kitchen is well equipped for home cooked meals with a grocery store down the street.

Would definitely stay again

This hotel is close enough to the strip to be part of the action but far enough away to be quite an quaint. We were so comfortable, we felt like we were at home. There are plenty of food stores, gas stations, and other ammenities near by.

A 100% Perfect hotel

Only one sentence can describe: everything is perfect. Highly recommend!!!
