i love the convent
excellent location that is very close to alot of coffeeshops! also the convent is around the corner from a store so check that out as well. THE BED WAS AWESOME HANDS DOWN...I SLEPT EVERY DAY UNTIL NOON! I REALLY WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN, REAL TALK!

Fine place to stay in Amsterdam
The hotel location is excelent: walking distance from the central station and just a few blocks from Dam square. It is easy to walk to most major landmarks and there are plenty of places to have food or coffee nearby. The rooms are fine, even if nothing special and a bit on the small side (from an American point of view). We did not have much interaction with the hotel staff, but they came across as pleasant and helpful. It is a fine place to stay, esp. if you get a good rate on the room.

Great Place
Wow great hotel in Amsterdam. Good rates, great service, everyone was friendly. Internet service. The beds are very very comfortable. Close to everything including the train station but in a quiet area. Only minor downside was no views.
