Traveler's tip
Do not get involved in solicitations from people at the airport, at the car rental place, or the hotel. We were warned but still got caught.

Away from the crowds
The Pueblo Bonito Sunset property is on the Pacific Site of the Baja on a beautiful, deserted beach. Yes you cannot swim in the ocean, but the beach is great for walking and free of the annoying vendors they have on the Cabo side. All restaurants are wonderful and reasonably priced. My two children 5,7 loves the kids club and all the diffent pools. I enjoyed the fitness center and spa. We went to the Cabo Hotel a couple of times and while nice also were glad to be back on the quiet side. The only wish would be for more vegetarian choices on both the kids and grown up menus.
The fitness center offers reduced afternoon rates, so sign up your kids for the kids club and enjoy! The hotel does offer a shuttle to the airport at a more economical rate that hiring your own taxi.

Very impressed - top hotel by Conde Nast
Pueblo Bonito Sunset was super high end (we got a real deal with Expedia package) and we enjoyed our stay very much: beautiful environment, service, and food. Its definitely a place where you go and just relax.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Rent a car since the resort is removed from the city and one cannot swim at its beach - dangerous undercurrents. PB resort has other hotels with beach access and a shuttle goes out every hour but it will not stop in town - there isnt much to Cabo San Lucas anyway; Cabo San Jose is a nicer town in the island.
