A great budget stay in Black Mountain
If you are looking for an affordable, no frills, older, good location, clean and friendly stop-over or base of operations to explore the mountains, Asheville or Black Mountain this is the hotel for you. The entirety of Black Mountain’s downtown is within easy walking distance. With grocery stores and an ABC in town, the fridge and microwave made things even more affordable. We never had breakfast at the hotel, but it was always busy with happy guests the days we were there.

Impressed for the money
I was impressed with this hotel especially for the cost. The room was larger than I would expect and was clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and I had no problems checking in or out. It was in close proximity to Ashville and the surrounding mountains. Black Mountain is a quiet town and felt safe. Breakfast is served until 9am, but really only consists of some bread, muffins, a toaster, juice, coffee, and cereal. I would definitely consider staying here again if I find myself back up that direction.

quick stay
This hotel is nice, however the staff was fairly rude. When I asked for more towels I was asked why I needed more, then very reluctantly given more. However the cleaning staff did their best to clean the room after each day. I would stay here for an overnight stay, but for an extended period.
