Awesome Experience !
I love the whole experience at this hotel especially the conceirge service , she was so , so helpful . The hotel is on Royal Street just off Canal so easy access to everything in the Quarter . My ONLY complaint was that they charged $11 a day for wireless internet , you would think that a hotel of this prestigious level , this would be included

We will go back!
This is a gorgeous, unique, historic hotel one block from Bourbon Street, and within easy walking distance to many attractions in New Orleans. With the hotel being as old as it is, our room was a bit smaller than you might be used to with newer hotels, but there was still plenty of room and the amenities more than made up for it. Wonderful shower, huge very comfortable bed, fabulous rotating Carousel bar in the lobby, and every one of the staff we encountered were delightful. We are not ones to do the same thing on each trip, but if we go back to New Orleans we will definitely be staying at the Monteleone again!
We went in November, and the weather was absolutely perfect. Sunny but not hot, not cold at night.

Beautiful but...
Gorgeous hotel in the perfect location in the French Quarter. If you can, avoid the rooms in the Iberville Tower as the views from these rooms range from dismal to non-existent.
