Perfect location
We took a red-eye for California, arrived early, room was not ready but we hadn’t expected to be. Upon check-in, we were allowed to check-in our luggage free of charge, were told that a room could be ready as early as 11:00 - 12:00. We didn’t make back to the hotel till almost 4:00, and our room was ready. Overall, the room was clean, the beds were COMFORTABLE. The concierge was VERY helpful, in getting needed information and directions. At one point we were in need of ointment for a cut, at the time of asking they didn’t have supplies readily available, however, shortly thereafter they sent someone to our room to deliver bandages, ointment for burns, etc. Good location and good experience. I LOVED NEW YORK!

Stay was okay
Positives: Staff was friendly and accomodating. Location was good. Negatives: Room was old and small. Barely enough room to walk around the bed. Bathroom was tiny and had an old look to it even though they added a few things like granite counter tops and new paint. The AC unit was old and they added a built in desk to make it easier to do business (internet access, etc.). Problem was, though, that it made the room smaller. There was barely enough room to use the ironing board. Basically, it felt like they dressed up a pig, rather than going through the process and dealing with the extra costs of renovating the room.

NYC Getaway
Hotel’s location made it very easy to attend a Broadway Show, Concert and Madison Garden, and even a nice walk to Central Park. Room was surprisingly quiet for being in such an active part of the City that never sleeps. Coincerge also recomended a very nice places for a bite to eat around the theater district.
