Would definitely return!
Gorgeous hotel, great hospitality! Beautiful surroundings! Great location! Was so easy to ski; right at mountain and could rent equipment in hotel. Other adventures (snowmobiling, dog sledding, etc.) were quite easy as well. Loved Whistler!!

Cant wait to go back
We had a fantastic time at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and plan to go again. This was the first time going to Whistler and we went during Thanksgiving weekend. The Fairmont had a special in which we upgraded to a "Gold" room. I would recommend this since you get the use of the lounge area which has breakfast and après ski happy hour. The staffs at valet area were very nice and it was great to be able to drop off my snowboard gear at the end of the day. The Blackcombe lift is less than 5 minutes away and with the “Peak to Peak Gondola” you can either start the day on Blackcombe or Whistler. The Upper Village is a quieter area and the Lower Village is just a 10-15 minute walk.
Fairmont Chateau Whistler has a shuttle from the Vancouver airport to and from the airport. We found renting a car gave us more flexibility and was a bit cheaper. Also during the Thanksgiving weekend there is lots of 20 years old.

Expensive, but nice
I think the hotel was nice, but overpriced. It is not a new or modern hotel. A little old fashioned.
