nice area close to Kings Cross, room marginal at best
The location is very good, nice area with convenient restaurants and a grocery store right across the street. Also very close to the over-rated hype of Kings Cross, but not so close as to be bothered by it. The room was poor quality: small, only a small chair, no table, no desk, no light to read by, really no comforts at all. The bathroom was better, had been updated in the past few years. Room WAS clean, but this place needs an upgrade BAD! Staff were nice.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The Sydney Explorer tour bus stops less than a block away from the hotel, you can hop on and it takes you everywhere you want to go, on and off priviledges for the whole day, 30 bucks a person.

The place is a DUMP !!
Impossible to get any rest during the day with the major construction & jack-hammering going on next door. The bathroom door was broken. They never vacummed the room - even though we were ther 6 nights. There are "party people" that hang out in the alley way at night. A dump of a place.

Great value for the price paid and it’s close to the railway station etc.
