Friendly Staff
The Staff was incredibly friendly. You could tell the hotel was older, but it was freshly painted and everything was clean. The location was great, walking distance to fisherman’s wharf and a mall, however the immediate location around the hotel seemed a little shaky / run down. Well worth the rate their charged though.
I always drive to SF, but once I’m there I walk everywhere. This allows you to easily stop anywhere you want to visit (parking can be scarce) and eliminates the need for a designated driver. When searching for a hotel, ensure they include free parking! Many do not, and overnight parking can be quite expensive.

Don’t get from expedia
it was a great hotel. but we it was twice as much online than what the people who walked in got it for.

Great location.
This hotel has a great location. It also has free parking which is a big plus for San Francisco. The rooms are adequate and comfortable. We were happy with the service as we were allowed to check in early which then gave us time to have a 3 hour tour of the city yet on the day we checked in and this tour was completely arranged for us by the hotel staff. If we returned to San Francisco this is where we would try to stay.
