Very comfortable overnight stay
Pass-through overnight stay while we were traveling from LA to San Francisco. Came in late at night and the management had the key conveniently located for us for our late check in. Room was comfortable and clean. Air conditioner unit was a little loud, but manageable. Nice complimentary continental breakfast provided. Morro Bay is a quaint town and we wish we could have spent more time there.

Good value and service
We have stayed in Morro Bay many times over the past 30 years. This is our first time at this inn. Aside from an unusual entrance which requires you to go up some stairs to the second floor lobby, we found this to be a friendly and comfortable place to stay. The room was not luxurious, but certainly adequate for the price. The location is fine, within easy walking distance to almost anything. A spa is available to guests, although we did not use it. The continental breakfast provided was okay, but no match for any number of local establishments. Overall, quite nice.
Traveler's tip on dining
For breakfast, dont miss a visit to Kittys Kitchen on Main street in Morro Bay. For lunch or dinner, make the trip to Cambria to Linns, a very nice place in the East Village. Their signature condiment is Olallieberry preserves.

There must be better
The hotel staff was nice. They cooked their meals in the office, and you could smell the cooking down the hall. The hotel spa only had 1 jet that worked. There was mold in the shower, and it looked like someone made a lame attempt to paint the outside of the hotel. There must be better. Next time we are going to stay in Pismo Beach.
