A SMALL GEM IN NYC
Location, location, location, perfectly situated, close to Times Square, Penn Station, Garmet District and of course Macy’s. Don’t expect a large room but it is adequate for two people. It is difficult to heat the room because it is small but at least the heat works. Room was very clean, bed was ok. Be patient with the hot water in the shower, but again it does get hot. Do not expect a view but we did have a window looking at a wall. There is a continental breatfast in the morning which was nice. Aside from the great location and cleanliness of the room, the hotel staff were all excellent. Very friendly and courteous. They always were willing to assist you and answer any questions. Last but not least - they will store your luggage after checkout until your departure later in the day. Overall my husband and I were quite pleased and certainly would stay again!

Warm People, Cold Water
We arrived to pleasant smiles and friendly service at the door and behind the desk. Our room was small, but we had been offered a larger room which we had declined. The room was clean, too. The only drawbacks were that we could even hear the bed squeak when someone turned over in the next room, and it took forever for the water in the bathroom to get hot. However, it was great for our needs, the price was right, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really made our stay enjoyable!
