Affordable, off-waterfront stay in Monterey
The Bay park hotel is easy to miss, tucked up in the woods as you exit the highway, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was kind enough to give us another room since our first room didn’t have a bolt lock, and the windows wouldn’t close properly, and there was a lot of noise from the gas station. We didn’t get to use the pool, it was not heated but it was clean. For peoploe who want an affordable, off-waterfront stay at Monterey or Pacific Grove, it was a good choice.

Not impressed
I would think for the money paid for this motel, it would be alot more ammenities that would come with it, and also considering the location which is less than a mile from the wharf
