Adequate
This hotel was nothing fancy, and had a passable continental breakfast included. The only thing I would note is that you need to run the hot water for at least ten minutes before it starts getting hot. I don’t know if this would be the case at all times of the year, but in January it is. The heater was also too loud to be able to sleep with it on, so the room got a bit chilly at night.

A nice "cosy" place with a good restaurant
This motel was our home base (for 2 days) for excursions into the Yosemite Ntl Park located nearly one hour away by road. Be prepared to drive long distances along hair-pin roads. The motel appeared to have been recently refurbished in the early 80’s style but the workmanship was a bit rough around the edges. The room was cosy, corfortable and clean. Meals prepared at the attached restaurant were surprisingly very good. We enjoyed a nice Thanks Giving buffet and on the previous night, I had fish cooked to perfection.

Great Location
Mariposa is a picturesque town on the way to Yosemite and this is a good place to stay.
