Best bang for your buck-Great Local!
Dont listen to all the negative hype. Hotel was fine and comfortable.Totally recommend the suites. Great location on a perfect little island. People so friendly. Check out Jaxs Bar and ask for Luis. Hes a bunch of fun and so nice. We went with friends and had perfect weather-Jan. 20-25th. Hotel is in the process of being fixed up and was comfortable and clean-Got breakfast only. Seafood is too good to pass up all over the island.Fish Ceviche and conch fabulous. Las Brisas a good place to eat and drink. Laid back island for laid back people-Crabernackles not wanted!

Great location
My wife and I loved the hotel and the island. We didnt opt for the all inclusive. There is a bunch of quaint little restaurants about 2 blocks away. The island and the restaurants made us feel that we were getting real mexican experience as apposed to the "canned experience" of the huge resorts in Cancun. We felt safe walking around the island at night. We didnt go for the nightlife and there wasnt a lot of it on the island. The hotel itself is on its own private island accross a hundred yard foot bridge. The beach at the hotel is right next to north beach and is a beautiful color blue. We couldnt have had a better experience.
