Good bang for the buck.
It was a nice room. I wasn’t looking for a place to spend my vacation. I was looking for a place to sleep while ON vacation. If you’re looking for a resort to spend a majority of your time, this isn’t it. If you need a nice place to crash when you’re not out exploring the Keys, this is the place. Not that expensive. Good buy for what we needed. The Dolphin Research Center, The Turtle Hospital, Crane Point, Sombrero Beach, Seven-Mile Bridge, and Bahia Honda State Park are just a few of the places you can check out in that area. There is a lot more.

Needs alot of improvements!
I want to start off by saying that I am about as laid back and easy going as a guy in his early thirtys can be. That being said I dont need a whole lot to make me happy, and unfortunately this place has fallen short of even my lower than average exspectations. Here’s the breakdown, The good: 1. Huge rooms! 2. Price is reasonable. 3. Pool area has been renovated. The Bad: 1. Piles of construction- garbage everywhere and it has been sitting there for a while. 2. Elevators not working! If the elevators are not working give the customers rooms on the first floor. The place was almost empty and we were givin a room on the second floor, along with the wrong room key, and it was very difficult finding our room as most of the room numbers have fallen off the doors!! 3. The residents!!!!! This place has full time tenants and it looks like a scene from New Orleans after hurricane Katrina hit. Dirty mattresses, laundry and just garbage laying around everywhere. The place offers a free breakfast we chose to eat elsewhere for this reason alone. Once again I am easy going but this was in my mind this place is way below standard for even the most laid back individuals. I have stayed in many places but you are reading my FIRST BAD Review ever!

A confortable hotel
It wa a great experience and we had a wonderful weekend, it is a great resort if you want to have a joyful vacation and do not have a lot of money.
