Beautiful Room
We have stayed at embassy suites before but this room by far was the largest and nicest. Highly recommend staying there!

Great experience at Embassy Suites in Center City
After I received an incredible deal on Expedia for 3 nights in Center City I was ecstatic. Then I read some of the reviews on the hotel and I wasnt so ecstatic anymore. After arriving at the Embassy Suites (which is only a few minutes walk from the R1 rail from the airport), I was expecting to wait 10 minutes for the elevators... never happened, maybe 2 minutes at the most. Most of the time, it was less than a 1 minute wait. Around 5pm there was a crowd of people waiting for the elevators, so I took the stairs... no complaints since I could use the exercise. My room was large, clean and I had no problems with the heater/thermostat. My bed was very comfortable and I Loved the shower!!! I ate the tasty, complementary breakfast buffet around 7am every morning and there was never a wait. You cant find a better location either, just a few minutes walk to all the downtown museums and sites, and a $2. bus ride to Old-Town and South Street/Penns Landing. Even took the bus down to Pats and Genos for some cheesesteaks, then walked up 9th Street through the little Italy open air street market. On a totally unrelated note, the evening staff at TGIF is frustratingly slow, but the food was descent. My only complaint for the hotel is from TGIFs patio speakers blaring pretty good music every hour until midnight, just below my room on the 4th floor, but that was only a "minor" inconvenience. When I easily checked-out of my room, I was defiantly glad I had stayed there.
