Super cute B&B
The Sterling Hotel was even sweeter than the pictures showed... big old house with lovely rooms and a nice, professional staff. Loved the furniture and the unique aspects of the room. Breakfast was good. Great location. Will definitely stay again when visiting family in the area.

yes, I would go back
quite frankly I was confused by the pro and con reviews of this hotel before we got there. Once there I realized that the negative ones were quite wrong. Parking isnt really that hard and to be expected. The tv remote complaint? They didnt read the direction! (duh!). The room was nice and airy, tall Victorian ceilings. Big bathroom and jacuzzi tub made it enjoyable. Okay, a little scuffing here and there but nothing to really complain out. The staff is very nice, the big old house was quite interesting. I even did a search on the history of the house and the family who lived there. We did a convention at the Sac. convention center just down the street. Oh, and if you like beer, the Brew-it-up restaurant and brewery is just down the block............what else could you ask for? Seriously, a nice place to stay and a good price. We could look out our room on the third floor and look into a canopy of trees..... really do recommend it!
