An Exceptional Chinatown Area Hotel In Singapore
The Amara Singapore is a beautiful, spotlessly clean, well situated, and extremely friendly hotel in the Chinatown section of Singapore. The hotel is a few blocks from two MRT stations, many key tourist spots, superb Hawker (food) courts, and easily accessible from the airport. The public areas and the 6th floor outdoor pool are top notch as are the good sized rooms with all the amenities. Housekeeping was exceptional. However, the most impressive aspect of the hotel was the staff-totally efficient, friendly and genuinely concerned with every aspect of your stay. The Expedia rate made it great value for price. I did not eat in any of the many hotel restaurants as there were numerous less expensive options in the area. My 9th floor room had a fine view, was totally quiet, had comfortable beds, and excellent bath products. While there are more extracagant hotels in Singapore, this is an excellent reasonably proced alternative.

Not impressed
I was expected lit more because of hotel positioning & visitors review. In fact i met not so plesant guy on reception while checking-in. My flight back was at 2 a.m. so i requested for late check-out, the same guy gave time just till 2 p.m. - it didn’t help me.
