Great Value in Whistler
Room was clean and comfortable, at a price substantially lower than surrounding properties. The full kitchen was an especially welcome amenity which saved having to go out when we were already tired from the day’s activity.
All the architecture in Whistler village is pseudo-Nordic/Alpine village, which because of its similarity to Disneyland is not appealing to me. But the people in Whistler--natives and visitors--are universally cheerful and friendly. Strike up a conversation. You probably will be glad you did.

Great place!
This was a great place to stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place, but if you are looking for a place with a full kitchen, 2 baths and a dry sauna in your room, this is it! We stayed in a loft suite, i.e. the bedroom, 1 bath and the sauna were upstairs. We were right across from the park and all it’s trails and steps from the shops in Whistler. The only downside was that the A/C did not work well the first 2 nights we were there, so we slept on the sofa bed downstairs. I finally called maintainence and they fixed the problem within 30 minutes, and we were happy campers throughout the rest of our stay. Also, there are laundry facilities on the 3rd floor, which is very convenient.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
You MUST do the zipline tour! amazing fun! The italian restaraunt at the hotel is first rate. The little deli in the village is also very good. Merlins in the north village has a wonderful blue cheese burger!
