Spartan breakfast
Beautiful facility (meticulously furnished and maintained) in a very nice neighborhood (Garden District- gorgeous old homes- pleasant to walk around and view them from the street) but if youre expecting a robust breakfast each morning, you will come away disappointed. As I told my wife, I travel often around my home state and the complimentary breakfast I receive at the Holiday Inn Express off the interstate far exceeds what was offered at this facility. The only cooked meal options offered to me was prepackaged meat breakfast sandwiches which I couldnt eat since Im a vegetarian. No eggs, waffles, or other standards one would expect from a facility of this caliber (actually, I would expect a heck of a lot more in the way of breakfast at a 1st-class B&B than I would from the Holiday Inn Express). And these comments come from someone with very simple culinary tastes and expectations.
