Return to Barbados and Turtle Beach was better than we hoped for!
We hadnt been back to Barbados for six years, and normally we stay at different resorts and when we visit the different islands. We were so pleased. Our 9 day stay was very nice. I found all the staff at Turtle Beach to be pleasant, helpful, courteous , and always professional. No matter, who you asked a question to, they were all eager to help you. We dined at the ala carte restaurants several evenings and the food was excellent as well as the presentation. We meet with the Expedia Rep, who also was very helpful and was very nice. We booked our two excursion with her. The catamrian and the swimming with the sea turtles was great, and we had a lot of fun. We took a taxi onour own Saturday and attended the horse races, and also enjoyed our time there. Its not a long taxi ride from the resort. The only negative thing was that the waves were a bit rough and the red flag was flying all the days that we were there. We still spent time on the beach, but also went to the one of the pools. We are actually planning to go back again next year.

We will be back
The resort was great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast got to be a little repetative with no changes each day, but the dinners were great. Our room was in the ocean view category, but was really an ocean front. The resort is located at the south end of the St. Lawrance Gap, and was jumping at all hours of the night. Plenty of restaurants up and down the gap from Maxican to authentic Barbadian food.
You must travel to Oistens for the fish fry. It is a great expirience to really get to know the locals. The food is absolutely fabulous.
