Great Get-A-Way......
We went to Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort because my husband was taking golf lessons at a nearby location. The location was easy to find and close to most anything we wanted. We were very pleased with the accomodations and with the resort itself, although we did not utilize any of the facilities. The unit we stayed in was in the Summerhouse, which was recently renovated. It was well taken care of and had two double beds, a nice bathroom area with a walk-in shower and a complete kitchen. The living area was nice, with comfortable furnishings and the view from our balcony was nice. It was quite cool when we were there so we didnt spend time outdoors. The restaurant was closed so we were not able to try it out, although I would have liked to. We contacted the front desk for delivery pizza referral and they told us about a place that had great pizza and delivered promptly. The main purpose of our stay was for my husbands golf and I used the time to relax and do some online continuing education. They had free wifi which made it really nice too. The experience was really positive. There was a guest book in the unit to write in, which I did. I read many of the other comments and they were all very positive as well. I would go back to this place again without a moments hesitation.

Very Brief Stay
Very nice room and bathroom renovation was great. I was only there for about 13 hours, until we could get into our beach house on the island. Greatest Starbucks patio Ive ever seen.
Traveler's tip on dining
Drive about 3-4 miles south on 17 from hotel and eat at the High Hammock Restaurant in the Pawleys Island Hammock Shops complex - it is unsurpassed. Whatever you choose to eat, get a side of yellow grits!
