Expected more from a Hilton
Excellent location, the breakfast buffet and wait staff was very good. Room was a disappointment. Room was an upgraded double, no bedspread on the bed, only sheets....dusty, furniture was chipped, bathroom door locked on the outside not from the inside (?), the Hilton robes were all frayed around the neck and were very stiff. Stayed 5 nights, never replaced robes. Didn’t look like picture on website at all. Front desk told me all rooms were like that , didn’t have duvet covers on the bed because "nobody " used them. Didn’t stay in room much because so much to see in Santa Fe, but really expected more from a Hilton. Despite all this, the beds were very comfortable and had a great time!

Nice place near the plaza
Overall, I would say the Hilton is a nice and convenient place to stay near the plaza. The lobby area and pool are well maintained. The rooms are comfortable; however, our first room had old green carpet that was heavily stained (although the rest of the room was fine). After complaining, we were given a room with new carpet the next day.
Traveler's tip on dining
If you are planning to dine near the plaza, I would highly recommend The Shed. The food is outstanding and the prices are reasonable. However, you need to plan ahead as the wait can get long in the evening.
