Great plqce to stay the night
Only complqint I had was with the rest room. Like most hotel/motels it was just to small for a big person. Sitting on the toilet my knees were against the door. The front desk person was extra nice in helping me find transportation for the next day. Her kindness was very appreciated. Future visits to Austin I will stay at the North Austin Plaza again.
A must place to dine is the County Line.

Not too shabby
For a short stay in Austin, this hotel was not bad. We did not spend a lot of time in the room because we were in town to visit people and some business. It was a good room if you only need to sleep there.

Very Decent Place to Stay
The staff at the front desk was very accommodating, the room was nice but nothing to go crazy over. Unfortunately it rained the entire weekend we were in Austin so I didnt get to use the pool, but it seemed to be much larger than the average hotel pool. My only complaint would have to be that it is a good 15 minute drive from downtown Austin, so if you plan on seeing the city while youre there youd better rent a car, because walking is completely out of the question and cab fares will add up fast. Overall, for the price, this is a really good option.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Frank (cool hot dog/pork place with great beer) Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (fantastic movie theater with food and drink service during films) Jos Coffee (on Congress Ave. good, cheap coffee shop) Maudies (great mexican food and cheap beer, right next to the movie theater)
