Nice gardens, pity about the noise !!
Pros: - Lush green gardens with lots of seats - 2 swimming pools, 1 at each hotel (the new wing is located right next door) - Big room - Hotel food good quality - Location is away from main road - Courteous staff Cons: - The hotel management stood by and did nothing (probably sanctioned it) whilst one of their handymen started doing very noise work right outside our room at 11:00pm - Work carried out during the daytime, on a busy Monday holiday, ruining any chance of relaxing lounge by the pool - Rooms are dated (the new wing is probably better) - Limited cable channels - Room service plates left outside room all day - Quite far from centre (10 - 15 mins in taxi)
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The bus to Xochi... with the pyramids leaves not from the main bus depot, but just up the road past the market, heading up the hill to the right past a small roundabout. I think there are 1 or 2 an hour (our’s left on the hour) and it’s cheap, taking about 1.5 hours. Returning buses every 2 hours from the site, last one around 4pm.

Great new wing of Hotel
The hotel is in front of a Cuernavaca Classic, good for Business stays as well as weekend getaways, would recomend the new Wing with new Rooms, and better Pool.

Great find in Cuernavaca, quiet and family friendly
Good value for the price paid, the rooms are good size and comfortable, staff is friendly and always willing to help. The only negative thing was the pool needed cleaning towards the end of easter week (Mexico’s busiest holiday) although it was perfectly clean at the beginning of the trip. Would recommend and definitively go back!
