What do you expect?
Your staying in a permanent tent. If you have never gone camping before this place is a good start. Though bed was uncomfortable and small.

It is a tent cabin
Remember, this is a tent cabin with no air conditioning. It feels like camping without any of the thrills of camping. So, let me start with the pros... we were in the middle of yosemite valley. It is extremely beautiful, and if you are doing half dome, you will be at the beginning of the trail. That was very convenient. There was a general store with reasonable prices, and there were plenty of restaurant options just a short walk away, even a fully stocked bar. Now, The Cons.... we went in July and it was hot. the bed was uncomfortable, and the area was noisy even after the "security" had come by to tell them to keep it down. The showers were pretty far from our cabin but within walking distance and the bathrooms were kinda a trek as well. It was convenient to have the food at our disposal, but if you go on a weekend, plan on lines, lines and lines. Over all I know it was a tent cabin and I will remember that for the future. Would I stay there again? If I had to, Yes. I would like to try the other cabins they had there that were across the street. Dont go for comfort, go for Yosemite.

Curry Experience
I stayed at Curry Village as a kid, so I had to take my husband there for his 1st trip to Yosemite. Very rustic, noisy, tons of kids on bikes. But, it is an experience everyone should try once! Short walk to the bathroom-- very clean. Its camping, but without having to set up your tent. I wish they gave a little more space between the tents-- you can hear everyones pillow talk.
Traveler's tip on dining
Food is awful & overpriced. Bring plenty of water & snacks (they provide a large locker for your cooler in Curry Village).
