Remember that it is Downtown
Oasis America is a nice hotel. Remember that it is located downtown and not on the hotel strip near the ocean or the night clubs. You can easily reach these destinations by bus or taxi. By taking a bus it costs roughly 6 or 7 peso’s (sp). By taking a taxi it can cost anywhere between 10 and 15 american dollars. If you are taking a bus, make sure that you take the correct one. Ask the people at the front desk for assistence and they will help you. The pool is very nice but a bit chilly, but with how hot it can get, its very nice. Never actually ate at the hotel so can’t give a review on the hotel, but there is a super market about a 5-10min. walk away.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Make sure to bring american money if you choose but if you bring a debit card or credit card and use the machines in cancun, you wont get american money back. You’ll get peso’s (sp).
