A good value for the money
The hotel was very nice and in a quiet area in Kensington.Only one block away from the tube. the room was clean, but tiny with a twinish size bed.Tjhere was only one blanket on the bed when I arrived, and a rough feeling plaid throw. I requested another one and got it. The water was nice and hot in the shower. The tub was huge but you had to step in it was very high.there were rails to hold on. The tv only had 4 channels,2 of which were either news or british sports. My pkg did not include the continental breakfast ,but was quite good. That actually served as breakfast and lunch, since everything is quite expensive there,in London, and the food is quite weird and plain,in my opinion.overall,a pleasant experience. I would recommend this hotel and stay there in the future. it is quite close to kensington Palace and the is quite easy to get around with, especially for me,since i am from New York City. Dont miss out on Harrods . I went there twice.it rocks.
My main reason for travelling to London was the Michael Jackson Official Exhibition. It was really great, but so sad,as well. I discovered the show "Thriller Live" in Piccadilly at the lyric theatre. Fabulous!!Half the price of a Broadway show. The road show is supposed to come to New York at some point. Cant wait to see it again.Make sure you bring plenty of money.London is very, very expensive.

will be back
Overall, the quality of service and everything else is rather good for the price. Very convenient location and the neighborhood is upscale, plenty to do around... Hyde park is very near by... Staff is helpful, in an english way :) For gym rats: An absurd policy of the health club within the hotel exists about not letting anyone inside 45 minutes prior to advertised closing time; makes no sense whatever their reasoning might be since a person can sweat or swim even for 15-20 minutes and get out of there in 30 minutes tops... Hotel staff seemed oblivious to tha policy which made me wonder how effective is the management, considering the name of the hotel!
Oyster card is the first thing to get to go around in public transport. You get your unused money back whenever you want in a jiffy :)
