Could have done better
Disappointing not to have easy access to internet service at the hotel. It is very difficult to find the hotel. On a positive note, it is very close to the cathedral and that is good if you want to listen to bells chime first thing in the morning

Location, Location, Location
The hotel itself is a bit worn and dated, maybe even shabby in spots (though the day we left, a charming man was painting the front facade). The staff are wonderful - helpful beyond belief. But the primary reason to choose this hotel is its location in the heart of the city. Literally steps from the Cathedral and the Alcazar, you can get lost and swept away in the charm of Seville the moment you walk out the front door. Many charming - and cheap - tapas bars are nearby for good food and a quick drink. In several of them, we appeared to be the only tourists; everyone else seemed to be locals. The countermen spent much of their time cooing over babies and chatting with grandmothers, all while barking orders for pork, ham, cod, squid, and octopus at the kitchen, replacing empty plates with full ones, and marking a few more Euro on the bar.
Traveler's tip
Dont even try to drive to the hotel. If you arrive in Seville by car, better to park at the first parking garage you see and take a cab the rest of the way. Driving in old Seville is not for the novice; it will only frustrate you and the locals behind you - who do know where theyre going and have very little patience for those who dont.
