Mammoth Mountain Inn rests on its laurels
The ideal location of the Inn which faces the main lodge is the ONLY reason to stay there. The small, cramped rooms are musty and outdated. There is an additional fee for everything--even the room itself carries an additional $20 a night fee which you dont discover until you check in. we had to search for a bottle opener--at the front desk they charged us for one! we were overnighted my son’s medicine which we had forgotten but the inn didnt get it to us until 48 hours after it had arrived. MMI wants to be a luxury hotel but has no interest in providing the service to substantiate that reputation--we will go elsewhere in the future.

Not impressed
walking distance to gondola. Room was clean but very stinky:( Shower head terrible, couldn’t even wash my hair. Water in a hot tub wasn’t to clean.
