Good Hotel with great location
We paid the extra money to stay on the top floor (executive floor) and were pleased with the room, magnificent view of the Mekong River, and free snacks and drinks in the evening. Great location but service was average in the rest of the hotel.

Not a five star hotel
I booked this hotel as a treat to myself to celebrate the New Year. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but lacked the sparkle of a true five star hotel. No hair dryer in the bathroom, for example, and only the bare necessities in the room. The sitting chair, very uncomfortable for an average sized person, was another example. The dining room where breakfast was served had torn and worn upholstery on most of the chairs. Additionally, the food was passably good, but for a tropical country, there was only a very limited selection of fresh fruit. Again, for a five star hotel, there should not have been any flies in the eating area. The service was spotty. On some days, the wait staff was attentive and other days ignored us completely. One day, a wait person took away my uneaten food mistakenly. I actually chased her back to the kitchen to retrieve it. The elevator carpets were very dirty, and could have used a good wash. All in all, for a hotel that is advertised as one of the best in Cambodia, I felt it was not a good value for the money. All of the things I have mentioned would not have bothered me at all save for the fact that I had expected better from a top hotel. I have to add that the reception and other personnel were friendly and courteous. But this place is showing a lot of wear and tear. Better to save your money and book at a lesser place where ones expectations would not be so high.
