Details

Begin your morning, afternoon, or evening tour with a 30- to 40-minute orientation session. You'll learn the basics of maneuvering the Segway scooter along your 7-mile, 3-hour tour. Then, roll away from the peninsula through Museum Campus to the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum. Cruise along Lakeshore Drive at the edge of Lake Michigan to Millennium Park. Follow your guide down Michigan Avenue before heading to the Navy Pier, the Lincoln status, and Buckingham Fountain. There's plenty of time for pictures, so don't forget your camera!

3 hours, including a 30-40 minute orientation session

Departure time and location:
10 AM, 2 PM, and 6 PM at the City Segway Tours office: 400 East Randolph, Chicago, at the North end of Grant Park, between Lake Shore Dr. and Columbus

Return time and location:
Approximately three hours after departure; all tours conclude at City Segway Tours office

Note:
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Each tour begins with a 30-minute orientation session, so that all participants are comfortable maneuvering their Segway. All riders must have the ability to climb and descend stairs without assistance. The Segway is not appropriate for anyone weighing under 100 pounds (45.5 kg) or over 250 pounds (113.6 kg). Any participant suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years or older (to sign liability and damage waivers; the adult does not need to go on the tour). Each party must also complete a damage waiver that includes a deposit of US$499.95 on a credit card. This charge is immediately cancelled at the end of the tour. Beverages, raingear, and gratuity are not included.

Redemption instructions

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Exchange your voucher for activity:
Reservation confirmations are required. You must contact City Segway Tours at the number listed on your printed voucher(s)at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled tour. On the day of your tour, please bring your printed voucher(s) and photo identification to the City Segway Offices. A $499.95 deposit on a major credit cardper reservation to cover potential misuse and/or damage to the Segway will be required before the tour. This will be refunded immediately after the tour, provided the Segway is not damaged. You will also be required to sign a damage waiver before your tour departs.

Terms and conditions

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
