The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the gateway to NASA’s launch headquarters and one of Central Florida’s most popular destinations. Go vertical on the new Shuttle Launch Experience—the most authentic simulation of a Space Shuttle launch ever created! Prepare for an inspiring experience with tours venturing deep into NASA’s spaceport facilities, daily Astronaut Encounters, towering rockets, and IMAX® space films.

Your ticket also includes admission to the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®—featuring the world’s largest collection of astronaut memorabilia, plus stimulating simulators, displays, and tributes to the heroes of Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Space Shuttle programs.

Lunch or Dinner with an Astronaut
This unique opportunity is available every day at 12:15 PM and 5:15 PM in the Visitor Complex. The banquet-style lunch or dinner includes an appearance by a real astronaut! The program incorporates a video of astronauts living and working in space, a brief oration of his/her thoughts, and individual time with each family for Q&A and photos with the astronaut. Lunch and dinner are topped off by a wonderful selection of desserts.

NASA Up Close tour
Led by a trained space expert, this in-depth tour gives visitors an insider’s view of the space program from launch preparation to lift off. The tour includes up-close views of the space shuttle launch pads, Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), massive Crawler-Transporters—that move the shuttle from the VAB to its launch pad—and the Shuttle Landing Facility. The tour stops in between the Shuttle launch pads for a close-up photo opportunity and the heads to the NASA causeway. Once at the causeway, you are surrounded by a myriad of rocket launch pads, offering a view of the solid rocket booster recovery ships and native wildlife.

Reservations are required for Lunch or Dinner with Astronaut and the ”NASA Up Close” tour. Please contact the Kennedy Space Center directly to make these arrangements. Space Pass tickets are not valid on certain shuttle launch dates; please check with KSC to verify if visitor complex will be open during a launch. 2-day ticket must be validated prior to exit on your first day in order to come back for second day; the second day must be used within 7 days of your first visit. This facility offers free parking and stroller usage.

Redemption instructions

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Exchange your voucher for activity:
Reservations are required for Lunch or Dinner with Astronaut and the ”NASA Up Close” tour. Please contact the Kennedy Space Center directly to make these arrangements. Please present your voucher(s) and photo ID at the Group Will Call Ticket Windows #1-4 upon arrival at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The 2-day ticket must be validated prior to exit on your first day in order to come back for second day; the second day must be used within 7 days of your first visit.

Terms and conditions

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
