Under the order of the insane King Ludwig, who had a reputation for building grandiose palaces and residences at the expense of German citizens, the castle was commissioned in 1868 by Christian Jank and Eduard Riedel. On this tour, you'll explore this royal Bavarian castle, which is surrounded by alpine scenery. Before you head back to Frankfurt, you'll enjoy an evening in the small town of Füssen. Lunch will be provided en route.

Please contact ETS – Frankfurt at least 48 hours prior to your tour departure to reserve your tour date, time, and pick-up location. The customer service number and operation hours will appear on the printed voucher(s). On the day of the tour, please present your printed voucher(s) and a photo ID to the attendant at the ETS – Frankfurt office in exchange for a local tour ticket.

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
