This 4-day/3-night excursion lets you make the most of Italy’s art, culture, and food without having to organise a thing. You’ll visit Assisi, Siena, Florence, Padua, and Venice to see selected highlights of Italian art and enjoy free time for shopping and sightseeing.

The roundtrip itinerary also includes scenic drives between cities, including views of the Tuscan countryside, medieval towns, and the Veneto region, famous for its Villa of Palladio. Hotel, transportation, meals (breakfast and dinner) and entrance fees are all included in the listed price.

Day 1: Rome-Assisi-Siena-Florence

Assisi is the mystic town of Saint Francis, still surrounded by ancient walls. After visiting the Basilica of Saint Francis, which includes early Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue, you'll be taken to Siena, the beautiful medieval town renowned for the Palio.

Day 2: Florence

Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Visit the Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John, and Santa Croce, the thirteenth-century Franciscan church with Cimabue’s famous crucifix. The rest of the day is yours for optional sightseeing or shopping.

Highlight: The Accademia Gallery housing Michelangelo’s David

Day 3: Florence-Padua-Venice

This day brings you to Padua, home of the Cathedral of St. Anthony, guarded by Donatello's Gattamelata, the famous equestrian statue that became the prototype monument for honouring military heroes. Next you'll visit Venice, the unique city of canals. See the Square and Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Prisons.

Day 4: Venice-Rome

Take a morning tour to a glass factory in Murano by motorlaunch. There will be time for optional shopping before returning to Rome.

    Hotel pick-up and drop-off is available for hotels located in central Rome only. The exact time of your hotel pick-up will depend on the location of your hotel and may be up to 45 minutes earlier than the scheduled departure time.
