Details

Relax with a refreshing cup of tea at the Daintree Environmental Centre, just on the other side of the Daintree River, and then follow your knowledgeable guide to the boardwalk to learn about the Daintree Rainforest—one of the oldest rainforests in the world. After the walk, take time to explore the interactive displays and ascend the Rainforest Canopy Tower.

You’ll continue on to Cape Tribulation Beach and wander the boardwalk or the beach. Energize yourself with a delicious lunch among the trees before returning to the Daintree River and the panoramic views from Alexandra Lookout. After re-crossing river, join a cruise and observe the wildlife that inhabit the waterway. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive and fearsome saltwater crocodile! The cruise ends at Daintree Village, where you board your coach and return to Cairns or Port Douglas, with a stop at the breathtaking Mossman Gorge along the way.

Redemption instructions

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Exchange your voucher for activity:
Reservation confirmation is required. You will not be guaranteed a place on this tour without contacting Down Under Tours Australia directly to schedule a tour date and hotel pick-up. Please call at least 24 hours prior to the date you wish to take this tour; the customer service phone number will appear on your voucher(s). Present your voucher(s) upon pick-up at your hotel or to the check-in staff at the Freshwater Station prior to departure. Transfers are not available in Yorkeys Knob, Holloways Beach and Machans Beach.

Terms and conditions

You will be issued a receipt confirming payment. Hotel pick-up is available from Port Douglas; please select this option when booking if you require transportation from that area.

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
