A specially constructed platform with an underwater observatory, sun lounges, moon pool, and other amenities, Marine World provides a unique outer-reef experience. Closely fringed by marine life with a low daily-passenger allowance, this two-storied pontoon is an ideal place to experience a relaxed, fun, and personalized day on the reef. Discover the quality, colors, and diversity of reef life here in any number of ways, whether you prefer to get wet or stay dry, whether you're a first-timer or pro.

Lounge in the sun or enjoy a marine biology presentation. Hop aboard an interactive semi-submersible tour. Jump in the water for snorkeling (equipment and instruction provided) or get up close to the fish during a feeding demonstration. Morning and afternoon tea and a hot and cold smorgasbord lunch are also included. And there’s a host of optional extras available to book now or onboard for those wishing to do anything from diving to taking flight in a scenic helicopter tour.

Introductory dive
Experience the magical underwater world under the close supervision of a diving professional. Enter the water from the safety of Marine World’s Moon Pool, a controlled environment that introduces you to the thrill of diving. One introductory dive is included.

Certified dive
Certified divers are taken to the true outer edge of the reef to experience the best-quality drifting wall and channel dives in the area. Two dives are included.

Scenic outer-reef helicopter flight
Get a bird's-eye view of the breathtaking sights of the Great Barrier Reef; scenic helicopter flights are available throughout the day.

8–8:30 AM; Reef Magic Cruises check-in desk in the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal (hotel pick-up available for an additional charge; see redemption instructions)

5–5:15 PM; point of departure

Note:
Children younger than age 4 may participate for free; however, children younger than age 12 are not allowed on optional scuba dives. All scuba-diving participants are subject to an onboard medical questionnaire. Those with certain medical conditions and/or taking certain medications may not be allowed to dive. All helicopter flights are subject to the pilot's discretion, weather, air-traffic control, and availability. A minimum number of participants may be required for the helicopter tour to operate. Certified divers must present their certification card.

Redemption instructions

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Exchange your voucher for activity:
Reservation confirmation required. Please contact Reef Magic Cruises at least 24 hours prior to your desired tour date to ensure reservation. Pick-up is available from select hotels for an additional charge and can be scheduled when calling to confirm your reservation—please have your hotel information available when calling. On the day of your tour, please present your voucher(s) and ID at the redemption address listed on your voucher(s) or to the driver if you are being picked up. If meeting the tour at the redemption address, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure.

Terms and conditions

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
