Climb aboard the A-Star helicopter, put on your Bose noise-canceling headsets, and enjoy the pilot's expert narration and soothing music as you explore the pristine beauty of Maui's eastern coastline. Fly over Haleakala—one of the world's largest dormant volcanoes—and then descend into the Hana Rainforest over a densely wooded forest blanketed by native vegetation and dramatic waterfalls. Views of the rugged coastline, steep cliffs, black-sand beaches, and perfect blue Pacific Ocean are easily visible through the large windows on your return to the heliport. The A-Star 350 BA has forward-facing, bench-style seats that offer excellent visibility for all six passengers.

I Did It! A staff review by Anita

We loved discovering parts of Maui we'd never seen before! The pilot took great care of us, and made sure everyone got a good view of each sight. Accompanied by a low-key soundtrack, his comments felt spontaneous, even though he obviously knew the island well. For those afraid of heights: The ride was thrilling.
