You can delete or cancel any item in an itinerary, or the entire
itinerary itself. Procedures differ depending upon which action you
decide to take.
Important: Before you cancel or delete reserved or purchased
items, always be sure to review the rules and restrictions via the
Detailed view link in the left margin of your itinerary.
Charges may be applied by the airline, rental car company, or hotel
depending upon their policies.

Where to look for cancel/delete links
To delete an entire itinerary, you can find Delete this itinerary
links in two places: on home page, to the right of the itinerary
name, or in the itinerary itself in the Options menu in the left
margin.
To delete or cancel a specific itinerary item, look for the delete and
cancel links beneath the item in the itinerary.
Canceling a flight reservation or purchase
To cancel a flight reservation, click Cancel this reservation
beneath a flight item. After you click this link, you'll be asked to
confirm that you wish to cancel your reservation. If you do want to
cancel, click Yes, otherwise click No.
To cancel a flight purchase, click Cancel this purchase.
Flight ticket purchases cannot be canceled online, but a page will
display listing your itinerary and confirmation numbers, and
explaining the proper procedure for canceling flights.
Refunds, if applicable, will be credited by the airline to the
purchaser's credit card account and may take up to two billing cycles
to appear on the credit card statement. If penalties apply, our agents
will inform you of the final amount, which will be deducted from the
refund. If you are holding a paper ticket, the refund process begins
when Expedia receives the ticket from you.
Canceling a car or hotel
To cancel a reserved rental car or hotel, click Cancel this
reservation. This link will display a message box that asks you to
confirm that you want to cancel the reservation, and gives you the
option of canceling other reservations in the same itinerary.
Cancellation charges may apply.
Deleting itinerary items
Each itinerary item offers a Delete this (flight/car/hotel)
link beneath it. All itinerary items can be deleted, however, if you
delete an active reservation, it will be cancelled. You cannot delete
itinerary items in progress. For example, if you're taking a trip to
Toledo, Spain, and attempt to delete your flight to Toledo from your
itinerary, Expedia will not allow it. You cannot delete reserved or
purchased itinerary items until 7 days after a trip has been completed.
Deleting itineraries
Each itinerary offers a Delete this itinerary link on home page,
to the right of the itinerary name, or in the itinerary itself in the
Options menu in the left margin. All itineraries can be deleted,
but you cannot delete itineraries in progress. Itineraries in progress
cannot be deleted until 7 days after a trip has been completed. If you
delete itineraries that include reserved items, those reservations
will automatically be canceled once you confirm your choice. Be sure
to review the rules and restrictions via the Detailed view link
in the left margin of your itinerary before deleting it. Charges may
be applied by the airline, rental car company, or hotel depending upon
their policies.
