Cons: Bathroom, room type, wifi, kitchenware
We stayed at Résidence de Bourgogne in December and booked a triple room with 3 single beds. We were offered a triple room with a double bed and a single bed instead. When we asked the staff about the room, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and the room cannot be changed. The bathroom was terrible - we couldn't shut the door or lock it. The hot water supply was unstable and flickering, and the shower curtain would stick to your body during the shower. The kitchenware were obsoleted and unclean. The Wifi connection was very poor in our room and we have to use mobile data for internet. The air ventilation was poor and made worse with the small room we were assigned. It is probably the cheapest accommodation you can find in the metropolis though.

The cleaner removed our toilet paper roll after the second night and didn't bother to replace it with a new one. Also took our rubbish bag and didn't replace it either. Stovetop wasn't even hot enough to boil water. Microwave didn't have a plate until the owner came and put one in. The shower was quite inconsistent with the hot water. Wifi was very weak or otherwise unable to connect. Only convenience is the location but I would personally not come here again.

When arriving to check in (within normal check in times) I was told the hotel was full. The money I had paid through my online booking was given back to me and I was I unpolitely kicked out on the street.

The property is old, dirty and overall pitiful. Keeping this listing on this website could jeapordize the site's reputation. Thank goodness for the refund made for remaining day after night 1...nuff said.

Cosy apartment close to Metro.Posted Sep 23, 2017
Pros: Very reasonably priced. Beds made up nicely each day.
Cons: No cups (wine glasses supplied); no kettle (had to use single saucepan supplied); Freezer compartment on fridge not working. TV remote not working.
Location: Very close to easy to use metro station, which makes whole the city very accessible. The streets are lovely to walk down to the Seine as well.
We were looking for a budget trip to Paris. The Eurostar was quick and comfortable. We tried to speak simple French, but in most places people immediately responded in English. We didn't expect too much having read passed reviews and so were very pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable, tidy room, similar to Travelodge in Britain (but more homely). It had everything we needed, as we were out all day and simply needed somewhere to return to at night. (Not sure that I would want to be in the room all day as well though, as no views. Our particular room faced inwards, so our windows faced other room windows, with no exterior view.) The microwave was ideal as we had a frozen food store next door. Overall, we enjoyed it and hope to do a return visit in the near future.

First we couldn't find it, the number and entrance was not marked. We saw the word Hotel on higher floors, but not the name. We went inside a restaurant-which had a different name-to ask and the waiter said this was where you checked in. We showed him the form that said breakfast was included and he told is it was from 7:30-10:00 at the restaurant. But the next morning the restaurant was closed. I waited on the hotel staircase awhile because it was cold outside. A woman came in and was startled to see me there. When I explained I was waiting for the restaurant to open for breakfast she said she knew nothing about it, but would get it for us. No one had told her about us. Ugh!
