Tired hotel, good locationPosted Jan 6, 2018
The hotel is not a 4stars Hotel as they mentioned , the toilet was broken, the shower glass was missing a panel, the wall was dirty and the paint was scratched, also I found hairs inside the pillows, the staff was smiling and helpful but in such conditions.

I was expecting so much more from a hotel that was rated 4 stars. I typically book either a 4 or 5 star hotel so my expectations aren't too outrageous. I have seen 3 star hotels that were cleaner and had more amenities than this hotel. For that price I expect more. Additionally the wi-fi barely worked in our room.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, arriving mostly late at night. The hotel room was clean and comfortable except the carpet was not so clean. Most hotels in Asia provide slippers for the guests. I suggest the hotel does the same as all Accor hotels in Asia I stayed have them. The distance to the Metro station St Lazare is about 15 mins walk away. This distance is manageable and also convenient as it is linked to Gare station so some shops can be found there, eg. Paul Café for a nice morning coffee and croissants. However, I would recommend the hotel to travellers who visited Paris before as the Metro lines can be quite complex for first timer. Taxi is very expensive.

Not a 4 star hotel at all!!!!Posted Sep 28, 2017
Pros: clean, next to metro station
Cons: Breakfast, towels, beds, toilets, bathroom products, etc
Location: Nothing special to do nearby, just a brasserie and the station. Of course is Paris and if you walk its nice around.
This hotel is just OK, but its not a 4 star hotel. The hotel is small, clean , Gregory from the front desk is amazing, but i have to say that breakfast was so - so and one day the lady that serves did not come and the front desk person was serving and trying to solve everything. Eggs are wet and bitter, and there are not much options, coffee is from a machine as well. A couple of friends that stayed with us had to pay $18 Euros per day for this breakfast... not worth it at all. The toilet from my room was kind of broken so when one would stand up it made a huge sound and bent a bit...i always thought at some point it will fall down... a disaster. Its next to metro station (Rome) which works.. i liked Mercure in Bastille but not this one.. not 4 stars please!

Disappointing - Not quite 4*Posted Sep 27, 2017 on Hotels
Bed was large and comfortable, however room was so close to stairs/lift shaft I could hear everybody moving around which resulted in a disturbed sleep. Beware of keeping air-conditioning on at night, as the light from the air con unit is very bright and doesn't aid sleep at all! The shower cubicle had a LOT of mold growth. The shower doors were broken and kept coming off rails every time they were opened/closed. There was some dirty underwear from a previous guest left in the bathroom.

Beautiful Modern Comfort with Easy Access to MetroPosted Sep 13, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: Comfortable, clean, modern amenities and decor, great location, great value.
Cons: Wifi reception and perhaps adding a vending machine would be great.
Location: Only 3-5min walk to the metro. Grocery store 3-5min walk. There are a couple of streets with restaurants and shops only 3 - 7min walk from the hotel.
The lobby was small but clean, modern, with lux accents. The room was very clean, comfortable, modern, and pretty spacious for a European room. The room has many luxurious accents and features including beautiful French door style windows that open fully. The staff was very helpful. I had a small issue with the first room I checked into (bad smell) but they immediately moved me into a nicer (clean smelling) bigger room the next morning when it was available. The only other issue I had is I booked connecting rooms but they weren't available when I checked in so they gave us rooms next door to each other instead which worked out fine. Wifi was a bit spotty in my room but I made it work, not too bad. The area seemed a little sketchy at first glance (across from railroad tracks covered in graffiti) but it's actually a great quiet neighborhood. The metro (Rome station) was only a 3 - 5min walk down the street. There's a charming street with tons of restaurants about 2 min away and in the other direction there is a main street about 5 - 7min walk from the hotel with even more restaurants, shops, and outdoor vendors. There's a supermarket across the street from the metro that's open until 11pm. Great location and value. I would definitely stay here again.

A rough start to our stayPosted Sep 13, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness of rooms.
Cons: Check in procedure.
Location: Close to one of the trains to Versailles, but about 20-40 minute train ride to the major attractions.
We arrived at the hotel around 2. Check in was at 3. They told us and another couple they would call up to the cleaning service to see if our rooms were ready. As we sat in the lobby they decided to conduct an hour of fire alarm testing. By 4, both of us were annoyed and upset. The rooms still weren't ready so, we instead checked in our luggage and headed out for a day of sightseeing. The hotel is about a 20-40 minute train ride from the major sites, so it was a bit of a trek. The rooms were clean and the hotel was updated. All in all, an alright stay, but a rough start.
