The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant . We had dinner there and decided to come back for breakfast . The service was excellent and the food was fantastic . The atmosphere was pleasant and I would highly recommend eating there .
The hotel was clean , interestingly decorated and everything worked . The bed was very comfortable ! The hot tub included easy to understand instructions , which is a rarity in a lot of hotels .The gas fireplace was romantic and easy to operate . The staff was welcoming and very helpful . I would highly recommend this hotel !

The Plaza is a lovely Art Deco style hotel. It reminds me of Europe. The staff was extremely helpful with driving and walking directions. Parking was vey affordable and accessible. The cafe had great menu for breakfast and lunch with a variety of seating options. Our room was comfortable, large enough with a serviceable bathroom- nothing fancy but just fine. Good area- close to the museum, theater, river, lake , and a multitude of dining options. The Plaza beats a chain cookie cutter hotel.

I was in town for business and once again stayed at this hotel. I found my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The adjacent parking ramp, which is not connected to the hotel, can be sometimes a problem. The hotel is located within walking distance of some great restaurants and pubs.

My room did not get cleaned one day of my visit; the elevator doors make a lot of noise if your room is close by; getting the key to work in the door is tricky; the picture above my bed fell down -- glad I wasn't sleeping there at the time!

Ambassador Hotel is very nice except for Pet Friendly policy I was unaware of. Dog barked both nights so I didn't sleep well and the Hotel was packed with Basketball fans and people for St. Patrick's Day; so transfer not
available. Other wise Shuttle Service and Food is good and room size is fine, Jim S. stayed March 2017.

Downtown Milwaukee’s blue-collar breweries used to define this fictional home of “Laverne and Shirley” and “Happy Days”. Now, the town is just as famous for the Santiago Calatrava-designed Milwaukee Art Museum, an architectural gem, and the Summerfest, an annual lakefront music festival. The Brewers baseball team plays at Miller Park, with sausage races drawing devoted fans.
