This is an airport hotel. We definitely needed a satnav to figure out how to get to the entrance. I've had bad experiences and airport hotels; this one was surprisingly nice. The room was efficient and clean. There is a nice bar. There's also lots of places to work in lounge. Parking is kind of a drag. Expect that at the airport. If you're leaving early from Newark airport or just need a place to park when you arrive late this is a perfect hotel for business traveler.

The upsides: nice staff, room acceptably clean, room was spacious, proximity to some great shopping.
Downsides: they TRULY need to vacuum hallways and elevators more often. Thin walls, kids partying in next room sounded like they were in my room. Awful view but expected in location.
Overall, if I needed to stay somewhere in Newark, I would not rule it out.

new hotel in great condition, facility was clean and breakfast was great. Price very fair for location and service provided. The young lady at the front desk who checked us in (early!) provided close to the best service I have received in 30 years of regularly staying in hotels. Kudos to her, very friendly and very competent.
